General Atomics provides AAG support for Gerald R Ford class

AAG is being installed for the USN aboard all four Gerald R Ford-class aircraft carriers.
General Atomics will provide the USN with support services for Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) depot planning Phase II efforts, under an $11.43 million order from Naval Air Systems Command.
AAG will be installed on all four Gerald R Ford-class aircraft carriers alongside Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (also made by General Atomics)
In the new order, work for USS Gerald R Ford and USS John F Kennedy includes logistics support, supportability analysis, maintenance planning, reliability maintenance, support equipment recommendations, programme development and post-production support.
The order will be executed in California, New Jersey and Mississippi, for completion in February 2024.
