Armed drone protection to be added to Iron Fist and Trophy

The new versions of the Elbit Systems’ Iron Fist and Rafael’s Trophy active protection systems (APS) will offer further support to tanks and armoured personnel carriers (APCs) by providing added protection against the growing threat of armed drones.
According to an unnamed Israeli MoD source, the development came in response to an urgent operational request from the ministry for the two companies to develop the updated feature.
