Poland seeks modern anti-tank missiles
The Armament Inspectorate of the Polish MoD has launched a technical dialogue as it prepares to procure a series of man-portable, lightweight, single-shot anti-tank missile systems under the Grot programme.
Nine companies have already shown interest in the procedure and a tender might be launched in 2020.
The new equipment will be provided to units in the Polish Army and Territorial Defence Force units, up to squad level.
The Polish Armed Forces are understood to have a requirement of up to 150,000 anti-tank missile systems. These will replace obsolete Soviet-era RPG-7s that are in service with the army, as well
