First look: 50mm chain gun firing at Arizona Bushmaster trials (video)
The 2019 Bushmaster live fire demonstration was held at the ‘Big Sandy’ test range, Arizona. It provides international attendees with a first look at a number of developments in the progression of the Northrop Grumman Bushmaster Chain Gun family including, the first public firing of the 50mm XM913 chain gun.
Other platforms at the demonstration were the GDLS Light Armoured Vehicle with GDLS 2-man turret / Mk44s / 30mm HEI-T and Mk 52 coaxial machine gun, as well as the BAE Systems Amphibious Combat Vehicle equipped with the Kongsberg MCT-30 and Mk44s 40mm HEI-T.
